If I remember correctly, he retired a number of years ago and closed up shop.
Several guys on here bought Nordic boats from him.
And, several had him do motor work for them.
The former owner of this site had a Nordic and took it back to Bob for work a few times. I think his boat had a 496 HO originally, and Bob installed a Raylar kit on it for him. It may have had a Blue Merc in it later.
Bob did good work and would stand behind his work.

The PO did say he took it to the Mississippi and also Ozarks. So, is it as awesome as I was told or just a big hole in the water I need to throw money in?

I was thinking it may have been an Iowa Boat, and if I recall correctly, it was on the Mississippi River.
Full Throttle Marine would be Bob Lloyd.

I picked up the boat from a guy in Iowa. Sounds like it was built back around 2002-2003 at a place in Texas called Full Throttle Marine, as least from searching these forums and others for info thats what I'm finding.

Was that boat from Indiana or Illinois or Michigan? Sounds like the one that a guy had that was on here years ago. I can't think of his stage name right now though.
