Wonder if I could somehow hook the boat engine to the trailer wheels.

As far as trailering skills go; anyone who relies on a back-up camera has none!
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Ha ha ha -- nice video and have to agree that real trailer skills mean using the mirrors instead of the monitor.

Someone wanna explain to me how a backup camera would improve ones ability to backup a trailer. Not back up TO THE TRAILER but actually backing up the trailer..........

I sold a boat to a customer recently with a new F150 King Ranch. He programmed his trailer length into his truck to help in some way. Not sure what it did. Anyone know?

Some fords have a dial you can use to steer in reverse for backing up. It is weird and for novices. So you let go of the steering wheel and turn the know the direction you want the trailer to go.

My brother-in-law has it on his Ford truck and says it works great. You have to set up every trailer in the system that you use but it works pretty good if you do it right. I'm a control freak and more than likely wouldn't use it. Is it weird but I actually enjoy some of the challenges of backing a trailer? Must be a guy thing.

You turn the knob still the right and the boat goes right. It's not the opposite thing we are used to. You still use the mirrors.

All them gimicks would throw me off. never had a problem backing up trailers just looking backwards. Shoehorning into a garage over the years you get used to it and it becomes 2nd nature.
Ok maybe one time down at Cumberland I had trouble but that was one seriously jacked up situation. If it wasnt for Bald ‘Mike and Brian Settle showing up Id have been hosed.
Tell me asshole - What's your fair share of everything I've worked for??? Please join me in starving and beating the govt back to it's honeymoon physique.
