It was a sunny, hot August day; Chicago hosted the "Tall Ships" from around the world. I think these ships are majestic against the background of the Chicago Skyline and an artform to sail. Shortly after this event, the "Bounty" replica was lost. It was cast in several period films.

I vote for Drew's pic but came across this the other day while killing time. Taken a few years ago from a friend's '57 H-model Bonanza...on final to Cedar Mills on Lake Texoma to get a "hundred dollar hamburger" at the marina. I love general aviation more than boating but was always too poor to do it!
