Yup. My daughter had the same experience. 9 out of 10 times, that's the story. But it is that tenth time (or even 100th out of 100) that makes this VERY different than the flu. As a member of the ambulance corps in my town and being married to a physician who abandoned her practice for over a month in April to volunteer in the ER, I have seen far too many of those cases and how devastating they can be. I can't think of many things worse than dying a slow painful death all alone because your loved ones are not allowed in to visit you.

Working for a bank, I have also seen the devastating economic effect the shutdown has had on so many hard working Americans, So I see both sides of the open up/shut down argument and I wish there were an easy answer. All politics aside (and to be transparent, I am disgusted with both parties and don't like either candidate), we need to find a way to get this under control soon so we cal re-open the country and get back to some semblance of normalcy, but do it safely so we don't end up shutting down again some months in the future.

Glad you’re better Mark. I’ve seen the most cases being exactly what you describe.

Thought I would share my Covid experience. I tested positive on Oct 15th. I have no underlying medical conditions and have a strong immune system. For the most part, I felt really crappy and very tired for the better part of a week. It was like a roller coaster. One day I felt great, the next day I laid in bed all day. I had no fever, but did lose my sense of taste and smell for about a week. All in all, It was not that bad for me. My Wife had it as well, and her experience was very similar to mine. The worst part was isolating for 2 weeks, although on my last day of being isolated, I voted. What did I take away from all this? I think this virus is over blown. I have had worse cases of the Flu.

My sister went to bayport. I actually went to fox valley lutheran in appleton. We lived on a private lake called lake leon off of harbor lights rd. Those were the good old days.
